🔼 Home Court. The men’s basketball team won its first home game of the 2026 season on Tuesday. The Trojans beat Maryland 88-71. Jordan Marsh led the team with a season-high 20 points. Four other players were in the double-digits. USC shot 51.5% from the field and 32% from the three-point line.

🔼 Doubleheader Dub. The women’s tennis team faced UC Santa Barbara and LMU on Tuesday. The No. 19 Trojans opened the 2026 season 2-0 at Marks Stadium. USC beat UC Santa Barbara 4-1 and LMU 4-0. The women won the doubles points against each opponent.

🔼 State Award. Incoming freshman USC women’s volleyball player Layli Ostovar was named the 2025-26 Gatorade California Volleyball Player of the Year. The award celebrates the nation's best high school athletes for their excellence in sport, academics, and community. She is the 15th Trojan to earn the Gatorade State Player of the Year honor and is the fourth from California.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is JC Stevenson and Madison Whyte. The two track and field athletes were named to the first watch list of The Bowerman. The Bowerman is awarded to collegiate track & field's top male and female athlete for the year.
