The award recognizes the FBS player who best combines exemplary community service with leadership and performance on and off the field. Beavers inspires local children to pursue a higher education in his hometown or South Central Los Angeles.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is Caden Chittenden. Chittenden is the kicker for the football team. He was named to the 2025 Lou Groza Place-Kicker Award Watch List. The award recognizes the nation’s top collegiate place-kicker. Chittenden is tied for the lead out of the 11 FBS kickers who made 20 more field goals last season with 26.
