🔼 Moving Up. Football wide receiver Makai Lemon has been named a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award. The award is presented to the College Player of the Year. He is one of 13 semifinalist. Three finalists for each award will be announced on Nov. 27. Lemon is the third-most productive pass catcher in the country (and first in the Big Ten), averaging 104.1 receiving yards per game. Running back King Miller has also been named a semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy. The award honors the achievements and successes of the walk-on athlete. Miller has recorded 636 total rushing yards on 80 attempts and five touchdowns.

🔼 Anotha’ One. Women’s basketball player Jazzy Davidson was named to another weekly award. She has been named the first Tamika Catchings Freshman of the Week by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. Davidson had 14 points in her season debut and 21 points against No. 9 NC State.

🔼 2 Top Players. The women’s golf team has two athletes on the final ANNIKA Award Watch List: Jasmine Koo and Catherine Park. Koo finished the fall season ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Division I Individual Rankings. Park is currently ranked No. 14 in the same ranking. She had the lowest round of the season for the Trojans, earning a 64.
