🔼 Incoming Greatness. Future women’s basketball player Saniyah Hall was named to the 2026 Naismith Trophy Girls’ High School Player of the Year Semifinalist. She was also named the Cleveland Sports Female High School Athlete of the Year. Hall is the No. 1 recruit in the nation, recently surpassing 2,000 career high school points.

🔼 Take 5. The men’s volleyball team beat UC Irvine 3-2 on Wednesday. The Trojans hit .326 and had 66 kills. Dillon Klein led the team with 24 kills. Noah Roberts and Sterling Foley followed with 14 apiece. Parker Tomkinson led the game with eight blocks. USC is now 8-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

🔼 Sweep. The women’s water polo team swept the MPSF weekly honors. Ava Stryker was named the MPSF Player of the Week. She led the scoring for the Trojans in their 16-8 victory over Long Beach State. EJ Hourigan picked up Newcomer of the Week.

🔼 Weekly Honor. Men’s volleyball player Wesley Smith was named the MPSF/Molten Defensive Player of the Week. He averaged 1.38 blocks per set and had 11 total blocks in a pair of wins over No. 16 CSUN and No. 15 UC Santa Barbara.
