🔼 Triple Threat. The football team had three athletes named to the 2025 Doak Walker Award Watch List. The award recognizes the nation’s most outstanding college running back. Bryan Jackson rushed for 188 yards in his freshman season last year. Waymond Jordan transferred to USC in the spring of 2025. He rushed 1,614 yards in 12 games last season. Eli Sanders also transferred to USC in the spring of 2025. In four years at New Mexico and one at Iowa State, he recorded 1,766 yards in 33 games.
