📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Opening Weekend. The baseball team opened its season against Pepperdine. The Trojans won their first game on Friday, 3-1. Mason Edwards tossed 5.0 scoreless innings. The men had a huge shutout against Pepperdine on Saturday. USC won 11-0 in seven innings. Grant Govel threw six hitless innings. Dean Carpentier hit a home run. USC finished the weekend with an 8-5 win. Andrew Johnson tossed 5.0 scoreless innings.

🔼 Ranked Win. The women’s lacrosse team beat No. 24 Brown 9-8 on Sunday. This is the team’s first win over a ranked opponent this season. Kaylee Fravert scored three goals to lead the Trojan offense.

🔼 Round 2. The women’s golf team is in first place at the Alice and John Wallace Classic after two rounds. The Trojans have a team score of 553 (-15). Catherine Park is in first place, Kylie Chong is in second place and Jasmine Koo is in third place individually. Bailey Shoemaker is in sixth.

🔼 Invite Only. The No. 3 women’s water polo team competed in the Barbara Kalbus Invitational this past weekend. The Trojans opened play with a 13-11 win over No. 7 Long Beach State. Ava Stryker led the team with four goals. The women fell to No. 2 UCLA in the semifinals, 10-9. USC finished with a 15-12 win over No. 4 California on Sunday. Emily Ausmus led with four goals.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is Jack Stadlman. The track and field athlete broke the indoor 400m freshman record at the Don Kirby Elite Invite on Friday. He holds the fourth fastest time in the event in the NCAA this season. The track and field team closed out the regular season at day two of the Don Kirby Elite Invite and the Husky Classic on Saturday.
