🔼 Best Freshman. The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association named Jazzy Davidson the 2026 WBCA NCAA Division I Freshman of the Year. Davidson led USC to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament and delivered a record-breaking postseason debut, scoring 31 points with six rebounds and five assists against Clemson. In doing so, she became the first freshman in the last 25 years to post a 30-point, 5-rebound, 5-assist stat line in an NCAA Tournament debut. Her 31 points marked the most ever by a USC freshman in NCAA Tournament play and the second-most by any Trojan in tournament history.

🔼 Welcome! The men’s basketball team welcomes Brad Davidson as the new assistant coach. Davidson recently was the associate head coach at the University of Hawai’i. He helped the team to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2016.

🔼 Made the Cut. Women’s golfers Catherine Park and Elise Lee have made the final cut at the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur after the second round at Champions Retreat Golf Club. Lee tied for 19th with a 141 (-3). Park tied for 29th with a 143 (-1). They will tee off early Saturday morning. This marks the eighth consecutive year that USC will be represented in the finals.

🔼 Anotha’ One. Women’s tennis player Eugenia Zozaya was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week. This marks her second time earning the honor this season. She secured the match-clinching point in USC’s victory over UCLA. She is currently ranked No. 123 in the ITA singles rankings.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO are track and field athletes Racquil Broderick and Jada Foreman. Broderick was named the Big Ten Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. Foreman was named the Big Ten Women’s Field Athlete of the Week.
