📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Buzzer Winner. The men’s basketball team beat Penn State 77-75 when Alijah Arenas made a layup with .7 seconds left. This marks the team’s seventh win in one-possession games. Arenas led all scorers with 24 points. Kam Woods and Ezra Ausar each had 13 points.

🔼 Career-Highs. The women’s basketball team beat Illinois 70-62 on Sunday. Jazzy Davidson and Kennedy Smith both tallied career-highs. Davidson recorded a career-high 27 points. This marks her ninth game scoring 20+ points this season. Smith had a career-high 20 points.

🔼 Two-Day Event. The track and field team competed at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic this past weekend. On day one, the team won five events. Garrett Kaalund broke the school record in the 200m with a time of 20.12. On day two, the Trojans had five event wins. Madison Whyte’s 400m time of 50.82 broke the facility record and took the top spot in the NCAA this season.

🔼 Three-Straight. The No. 4 men’s volleyball team swept No. 15 UCSB 3-0 on Saturday. This Trojans are now 7-0 for the second straight year. Dillon Klein led all players with 14.5 points earned on 12 kills, three blocks and a service ace. Noah Roberts reached double-digit kills for the fourth time this season with 10 kills.

🔼 Season Opener. The women’s lacrosse team opened its season and beat California 16-9. Charlotte Morton tallied her second-career win with seven saves and career highs of five ground balls and two caused turnovers. Kaylee Fravert totaled a career-best five points in her fifth-career game with three or more goals.

🔼 Sweep! The men’s tennis team won both of its matches on Sunday. The Trojans beat UNLV 4-3 and UC Irvine 4-0.

🔼 Swim Wins. The No. 15 swim and dive team beat UNLV 200-61 on Friday. The Trojans earned victories in 15 of 16 events. Thomas Olsen placed first in the 1000y free and 500y free. Junhao Chan swept both the breaststroke events.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is the No. 3 women’s water polo team! The Trojans beat No. 7 Long Beach State 16-8 on Saturday. Ava Stryker recorded one of her best performances the season, going four-for-six and added two steals and an assist. Anna Reed tallied nine saves.
