🔼 The Duo. The women’s beach volleyball team had two players named to the AVCA Player of the Year Watch List. Zoey Henson and Kennedy Coakley are two of 16 individuals recognized. Henson finished 24-13 last season, and Coakley earned a 30-5 record with Ashley Prater last season.

🔼 Great Pitch. USC Trojans baseball pitcher Grant Govel was named the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week. Govel tossed 6.0 hitless innings, setting career-highs in innings pitched and strikeouts. He allowed just two baserunners all game. This marks his first honor of the season.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is women’s basketball player Jazzy Davidson. Davidson was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week. This marks her sixth time earning the honor. She had her 24th double-figure scoring game of the season and her 22nd consecutive game reaching double-figures.
