🔼 Tossed Into The Mix. While the track and field athletes were out competing in regional play, coaches and staff were hard at work delivering the program two new signings to join the squad for next year’s run at the title.

• Reese Garland joins the Trojans as a a thrower from Oak Park, IL. The true freshman will compete in both the discus and shot put for USC next season.

• Jenna Gallaway will also join the team next season out of Coto de Caza, CA. She will compete as another thrower for the program, primarily in the hammer throw.

These two throwers will have the opportunity to compete immediately, and will be in good company as athletes from 10 different events are still on the hunt for NCAA hardware after punching their tickets to the Outdoor Championships in June.

🔼 Olá de Brasil. USC women’s volleyball is living their best lives over in Brazil as they have now competed in four matches against teams across the country. The trip has been both business and fun, but we can’t wait to see what this team can do once August rolls around.

🔼 Wrapping It Up. USC women’s lacrosse had one heck of a season. A Pac-12 title and NCAA Tournament berth aren’t just things that happen, it takes hard work and dedication, and this team showed that all season long.

But with the 2023 season behind us, the final IWLCA rankings put the Trojans 21st in the country. The history books will remember this team as one to remember, and a top-25 ranking proves that to be true.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

Celebrating former Trojans is something we’re used to, and this past week we certainly had something to celebrate. USC All-American Rico Hoey from the men’s golf program secured his first victory on the Korn Ferry Tour en route to earning a potential PGA Tour card.

Hoey earned himself the victory after carding a final round 65 to win the Visit Knoxville Open by one stroke. The win puts him in the No. 2 slot on the points list. He will look to continue his winning ways this weekend at the UNC Health Championship.
