🔼 Again! Sophomore guard JuJu Watkins is the first Trojan to win the Wooden Award and Dawn Staley Award while also picking up her second selection as the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year.
Dawn Staley said, “JuJu Watkins is more than a gifted athlete; she is a transformative player who has elevated our sport at an incredibly early stage in her career. A passionate competitor, her creativity and athleticism make her a must watch player and her basketball IQ and ever-expanding skill set make her a nightmare for opponents every second she is on the court. I couldn’t be more honored to have her name etched alongside this award.”
🔼 Round One. The women’s golf team played round one of the Silverado Showdown. The Trojans are in third place with a score of 290(+2). Jasmine Koo set herself up for a run at her program-record fifth win of the season as she finished day one tied for second at two-under par.
