🔼 Watch Him! Track and field athlete Garrett Kaalund was named to The Bowerman Watch List for the 2026 season. The Bowerman is awarded to collegiate track & field's top male and female athlete for the year. Kaalund dominated in the 200m throughout the indoor season, breaking the school record twice and recording NCAA and world leads in the event.

🔼 Wrapped Up. The women’s basketball team fell to Washington in round two of the 2026 Allstate Big Ten Tournament. The Trojans fell 76-64. USC is 17-13 overall this season and await their fate in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. Londynn Jones led the team with 19 points. Kennedy Smith had 14 points.

🔼 Undefeated! The baseball team is heading into this weekend’s series against Illinois undefeated! USC is 12-0. The only other team in the country that is undefeated is Texas at 12-0.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is Madison Whyte and Garrett Kaalund. Whyte and Kaalund were named 2026 Indoor Track and Field Sportsmanship Honorees. Sportsmanship honorees are individuals who have set themselves apart through hard work, sportsmanship and honorable behavior. The nominee holds good academic standing and demonstrates good citizenship outside of the sport.
