📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Close Win. The men’s basketball team beat Rutgers 78-75 on Saturday. This marked the teams’ fifth conference win. Ezra Ausar posted his 13th game in double figures this season. Ausar had a team-high 21 points. The Trojans shot 51% from the field and 33.3% from deep.

🔼 Smashed ‘Em. The women’s basketball team won its second straight conference game. The Trojans beat Rutgers 71-39 on Sunday. USC finished with a season-best 57 rebounds and held Rutgers to single-digit scoring in three of four quarters. Kara Dunn led the team with 18 points. Jazzy Davidson had 16 points.

🔼 Crosstown Showdown. The women’s swim and dive team beat UCLA 174-126 on Friday. Justina Kazan won the 200y butterfly and the 200y IM. Alisee Pisane won the 1000y freestyle. Nicole Maier and Claire Tuggle finished first and second in the 200y freestyle.

🔼 Invite Only. The No. 2 women’s water polo team hosted the Triton Invitational this past weekend. The women beat Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 23-4 on Friday. On Saturday, USC beat No. 12 UC San Diego 19-12 and No. 7 Long Beach State 15-11. The women fell in the championship game against UCLA 12-9.

🔼 Round One. The No. 2 women’s golf team started competition at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge. The team is tied for 14th place with an overall score of 303 (+19). Bailey Shoemaker currently leads the team in 24th place individually.

🔼 Ruled the Court. The No. 22 men’s tennis team beat No. 23 California 4-3 on Saturday. The Trojans claimed the doubles point to open the contest. The men then won three singles matches to claim the victory.

🔼 Upset! The No. 20 women’s tennis team upset No. 11 Stanford 4-3 on Friday. The Trojans handed Stanford their first home loss of the season. USC won the doubles point and clinched the dual late in singles play to win. The women then faced No. 16 Cal. The Trojans fell 4-2.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is the No. 4 men’s volleyball team. The Trojans beat No. 13 Ohio State 3-2 on Friday. Four Trojans reached double-digit kills. Dillon Klein led the team with 20 kills. Caleb Blanchette put up 32 assists and set a new career high with 14 digs for his sixth-career double-double.

Running It. The track and field team competed in the DeLoss Dodds Invite this past weekend. On day one, Jackson Norris finished sixth in the long jump. On day two, Avery Lewis claimed second place in the women’s long jump.
