🔼 Fresh Moves. Men’s basketball player Alijah Arenas was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week. He had a career-high 29 points against Indiana and 24 points against Penn State. He averaged 26.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game last week.

🔼 Top Runner. The US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named Madison Whyte the Women’s NCAA DI National Athlete of the Week. Whyte is the first USC women's indoor track and field athlete to win the award since it first started in 2015. The national recognition comes after Whyte ran a time of 50.82 in the indoor 400m at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic. Whyte achieved the top time in the NCAA for the event this season, broke the facility record and recorded the second-fastest time in school history.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is women’s basketball player Jazzy Davidson. This is her fifth time being honored as the Big Ten Freshman of the Week this season. Davidson had 21 points in USC’s win over Northwestern and a career-best 27 points against Illinois. Davidson continues to anchor USC's lineup, leading the Trojans in points (16.9), rebounds (6.3), assists (4.4), blocks (2.2) and minutes played (34:06).
