🔼 Day 2. The track and field team competed in day two of the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The women’s 4x100m relay team of Dajaz DeFrand, Mia Brahe-Pedersen, Madison Whyte and Brianna Selby got the day started in a time of 41.96, SHATTERING their school record of 42.12 from this season and becoming only the second school to ever run a sub-42 second time. Selby is headed to the 100m finals. Whyte will advance to the 400m finals. Ashley Erasmus earned second place at with a throw of 18.14m. DeFrand and Christine Mallard are headed to NCAA 200m finals with semifinal times of 22.36 and 22.55, respectively.

🔼 Regional Honors. Four baseball players were named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region honors. Mason Edwards and Augie Lopez were named to the First Team. Grant Govel and Jack Basseer were named to the Second Team. Edwards compiled an 8-0 record with a 2.07 ERA and 169 strikeouts in 95.2 innings pitched. Lopez finishing the 2026 campaign with 19 homers and a slash line of .278/.364/.590. Govel posted a 10-3 record with a 2.87 ERA in 103.1 innings pitched. Basseer posted a .324 batting average with 42 RBI and 44 runs scored.
Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is men’s golfer Jaden Dumdumaya. He was earned PING All-American Honorable Mention honors. Dumdumaya led USC to four wins and its first NCAA Championship appearance in seven years. The sophomore from Benecia, Calif. led the team with a 71.06 stroke average, plus he tied the second-lowest round in school history twice with 63s at the Trinity Forest and Valspar Collegiate Invitationals.
