Good morning, Trojan Family. Time to dance! The women’s basketball team was selected as the No. 1 seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Trojans play No. 16 UNC Greensboro on Saturday.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 NCAA Run. On day one of the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships, JC Stevenson and Johnny Brackins Jr. scored in the men’s long jump, and six men and four women advanced to event finals. On the final day, the men’s team won the team title, and the women’s team placed third. Dajaz DeFrand was the only individual event-winner, taking home the crown in the women’s 60m dash final.

🔼 Series Win! The baseball team won its series against Michigan 7-4, 4-3 and fell 11-0. Abbrie Covarrubias drove in four runs in game one. Kade Higgins went 3-for-4 at the plate with one run, two doubles and a single in game two. 

🔼 Double Dubs. The No. 5 men’s volleyball team competed at the Outrigger Invitational. The team swept No. 12 Ball State 3-0 while hitting .414, and three players reached double-digit kills. Next, the men beat No. 3 Hawai’i 3-1, winning the tournament. Dillon Klein earned Most Outstanding Player.

🔼 Sandy Success. The women’s beach volleyball team competed in the FAU Beach Invitational. The No. 4 Trojans came back from down two points to secure a 3-2 win over Florida Gulf Coast. They also beat No. 15 Stetson 4-1, No. 13 Florida Atlantic 4-1 and No. 20 Georgia State 5-0.

🔼 Court Report. The No. 18 women’s tennis team made an incredible comeback against No. 19 Washington. The Trojans erased a three-point deficit to win 4-3. The women swept through Oregon 4-0 on Sunday.

🔼 Unleash the Beast. The women’s lacrosse team had a huge offensive performance against Marist. The Trojans won 21-5, tying their season high for points.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is the women’s water polo team. The Trojans won all four games at the Aztec Invitational. They beat No. 12 Princeton 15-9, Bucknell 18-7, No. 8 Harvard 17-10 and No. 16 Michigan 18-7. The team is now 21-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
