🔼 LA Won. The No. 6 women’s basketball team beat city rival No. 1 UCLA 71-60, giving the Bruins their first loss of the season. The Trojans started and ended the game with 24-point quarters. JuJu Watkins eclipsed 1,500 career points with her double-double performance of 38 points and 11 rebounds. Click here to find the full game recap.

🔼 Welcome! The football program named Max Stienecker the executive director of personnel. Stienecker was recently the general manager at Wisconsin. He helped to build Wisconsin’s last two recruiting classes.

🔼 Double Honored. Two women’s basketball players have been named to the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Midseason Watch List— Kiki Iriafen and JuJu Watkins.

🔼 On Track. The Big Ten Conference named Johnnie Blockburger and JC Stevenson to weekly honors. Blockburger earned Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. Stevenson earned Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is men’s volleyball player Sterling Foley. Foley had a career-high of 16 kills and 17.5 points on .333 hitting against No. 2 UC Irvine. He also had seven digs, three blocks and three assists.
