🔼 Watch List. Women’s basketball players Kennedy Smith and Jazzy Davidson were named to the 2025-26 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Women’s Basketball College Player of the Year Watch List. This is Smith’s second season at USC. She averaged 9.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season. Davidson was the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2025 by ESPN.

🔼 Dreaming Big. Men’s basketball player Jordan Marsh is a playmaker and scorer. Marsh grew up in North Carolina and played for Appalachian State and UNC Asheville. Last season, he averaged nearly 19 points per game at UNC Asheville. He earned Big South Conference Newcomer of the Year. Now, he joins the USC program with a lot of experience.

🔼 QB 1. Quarterback Jayden Maiava was named to the 2025 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award. The award honors the nation’s best college quarterback and is the oldest and most prestigious national quarterback award. So far, he is 145-213 (.681) for 2,180 yards with 15 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He also has 41 rushing yards on 23 attempts and scored four touchdowns himself.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is Chad Baker-Mazara. The men’s basketball player was named to the Preseason Julius Erving Award’s Top 20 Watch List. The award recognizes the top small forwards in Division I men’s college basketball. He was also a finalist for the award last season.

USC Trojans Unite to Fight Blood Shortages

Join the USC Trojans in the nationwide We Give Blood drive to combat urgent blood shortages in the U.S. and inspire new donors. Every donation can save up to three lives.

From August 27 to December 5, every blood donation logged helps USC compete for $1 million to support student and community health programs. Plus, donors will receive limited-edition Homefield t-shirts, while supplies last.
