🔼 Win! The women’s soccer team beat Rutgers 2-1 on Sunday for a Big Ten Conference win. Jaiden Anderson and Ines Derrien each scored in the first period. The Trojans had 12 shots, and goalkeeper Bella Grust had two saves.

🔼 Split Weekend. The No. 17 volleyball team went 1-1 this past weekend. The Trojans fell to No. 15 Penn State 3-2 on Friday in their Big Ten opener. Reese Messer led the team with 16 digs. The women then defeated Ohio State 3-0 on Saturday. London Wijay led the team with a season-high 18 kills.

🔼 Champs. The women’s tennis team had standout performances at the SoCal Intercollegiate. Jana Hossam and Krisha Mahendran won the doubles title. Eugenia Zozaya and Krisha Mahendran share the singles title.

🔼 First Fall. The No. 21 football team lost its first game of the season against No. 23 Illinois 34-32. Waymond Jordan, Ryon Sayeri and Makai Lemon made it to the end zone. Jayden Maiava had 30 completions on 43 attempts for 364 yards and two touchdowns. The Trojans had 490 total offensive yards.

🔼 That’s a Dub. The No. 3 men’s water polo team beat No. 10 Pacific 14-7 on Friday. The men scored 10 goals in the second half for the victory. Robert Lopez Duart led the team with four goals. The men picked up their second win of the weekend against No. 8 UC Davis. The Trojans won 19-9, and Andrej Grgurevic and Mihailo Vukazić each scored four goals.
