🏀 The Return
🎾 One Big Thing
⚔️ And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Class Acts. As the Trojans prepares for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, six track and field student-athletes were honored as members of CSC All-District Team. To be selected, honorees had to obtain a minimum GPA of 3.50.

Among the group selected are Christian Johnson for the men's team and Maya Lacamp, Mihajla Milovanovic, Samirah Moody, Giovanna Pisano and Maci Simmons for the women's team. Hard work put in on and off the track paid off, indeed.

🔼 The Return. From the Ivy to the Palms, Kayla Padilla will join the Women of Troy next year on the hardwood. The former three-time Ivy League First-Team honoree will take the court for the Trojans next season after setting records in career three-pointers made (210), season three-pointers made (81), and single game three-pointers made (nine) at Penn.

“To say Kayla Padilla is a great player and person is an understatement,” said head coach Lindsay Gottlieb. The sharp shooter and grad transfer will have one year left of eligibility to shine for USC in her return home.

🔼 Captain(s) America. Paige Hauschild, Tilly Kearns, Bayley Weber, Caroline Stern, Grace Tehaney; your 2023 ACWPC All-Americans. Amazingly, it’s the second straight year each of these five Women of Troy have earned the honor.

Each member of the team helped lead USC to a No. 1 ranking throughout the season, and a fifth straight NCAA title game appearance. Weber, Tehaney, and Hauschild end their careers on a high note, and leave their legacy on the program. Meanwhile, both Kearns and Stern will return next season to bring another title to USC.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

USC tennis is seeing success at the pro-level after a pair of wins from both men’s and women’s play.

Learner Tien, this season’s standout freshman, went into the Roland Garros Junior Championships and secured himself a first round win. He knocked off the 13th seed in straight sets as an unranked player.

Eryn Cayetano earned her first win of her pro career at the Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Doubles Tournament alongside her partner Isabelle Chhiv off the heels of a NCAA Semifinals appearance.
