🔼 New Year Dub. The No. 4 USC women's basketball team had JuJu Watkins and Kiki Iriafen combine for 40 points in the Trojans' 75-55 win over visiting Nebraska on New Year's Day at Galen Center. The win gives USC its first 3-0 start to conference play since the 2013-14 season while improving to 13-1 overall.
🔼 Lasting Legacy. Ninth all-time in scoring and fifth all-time in rebounds, USC men’s basketball legend John Rudometkin made his mark at USC that resulted in his induction into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. During his three-year career with the Trojans, Rudometkin secured 1,484 points and 831 rebounds. He was the first player in USC history to reach 1,000 career points in two seasons.
🔼 Top Prize. USC men's golf Jack Jerge earned his second-career World Amateur Golf Ranking win after taking the 2024 Grapevine Amateur at the Silverado G.C. The sophomore put together a tournament-best final round, 67 (-5), as he raced past the field en route to his first tournament win of the 2024 season.
