🔼 Back On Track. Running back Woody Marks rushed for three touchdowns, quarterback Miller Moss had two scoring passes and a touchdown run and the Trojans snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Rutgers 42-20 on Friday night. USC, now 4-4 on the season, scored on all four offensive possessions in the first half, while the defense — missing four starters in the secondary — came up with some timely stops. With a win under their belt, the Trojans will now travel to face a familiar foe in the Washington Huskies on Saturday.

🔼 Call ‘Em Champs. In the winner-take-all matchup against the crosstown rivals, the Women of Troy came away with a 1-0 win to earn the Big Ten regular season title. No. 6 USC's Maile Hayes scored the lone goal in the 36th minute en route to their first Big Ten title. The win caps an 11-match unbeaten streak to end the regular season and marks seven straight victories heading into the conference tournament for USC.

🔼 Calm Before The Storm. The USC men's basketball team, led by grad transfer Terrance William II's 20-point performance, recorded a 96-93 victory over No. 6 Gonzaga in the team’s final exhibition game on Saturday.  Five Trojans hit the double digits during the exhibition, led by Williams' 20 points. Chibuzo Agbo scored 15 for Troy and led USC in rebounding with seven boards. USC hosts its first home game of the 2024-25 season against UT-Chattanooga at the Galen Center on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.

The Women of Troy are coming off three first-place individual performances in the past three tournaments heading into a tournament field featuring three semifinalists and one quarterfinalist from the 2024 NCAA Championship.

🔼 First For Many. USC women's rowing hit the water at Lake Natoma for the team's first competition of 2024-25, and first under the leadership of head coach Kelsie Chaudoin and her coaching staff. The Trojans had a number of boats entered for action at the Head of the American in Gold River, Calif., today, and USC saw strong performances across the board.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO goes to USC men’s water polo’s Robert Lopez Duart. The sophomore driver helped the Trojans to an 18-10 win over No. 10 UC Davis with three goals in the match. With the hat trick against the Mustangs, López Duart continues to lead USC in scoring this season, now with 41 goals.
