🔼 We’ve Got Maile. After celebrating Senior Day pregame, senior forward Maile Hayes scored twice to lead the No. 21 USC women's soccer team to a 2-0 win over Oregon on Saturday afternoon It was the seventh shutout of the year for USC as the Trojans remain unbeaten in Big Ten play, moving to 9-1-2 overall and 5-0-1 in conference action. Hayes scored once in each half, putting the Trojans on the board in the 18th minute and again in the 63rd minute. Overall, the Trojan attack was relentless, firing 31 shots in the game and putting nine on target.

🔼 How Sweep It Is. USC women’s tennis freshman Jana Hossam won the singles title, while senior Sloane Morra and freshman Anya Murthy captured the doubles title to sweep the four-day Women of Troy Invite at Marks Stadium. For the third consecutive season, USC captured the doubles title at the Women of Troy Invite as Morra and Murthy combined to go 2-0 as a duo during the tournament. In singles, Trojan rookie Hossam went a perfect 4-0 to capture the invite's individual crown.

🔼 Weekend Clash. USC men’s water polo capped off the weekend with a 2-1 record after hosting three matches in its home waters. The Trojans rattled off two wins on Friday and Saturday, combining for 37 goals to improve to 12 dubs on the season. Sunday’s matchup saw the Trojans battle Stanford, and in the end, USC fell in a close matchup to finish the weekend at 12-2.

🔼 Went For Gold. The No. 21-ranked USC women's volleyball team took down No. 12 Minnesota in four sets at Galen Center. It was the Trojans' eighth straight home victory and USC's first win over a ranked opponent this season. Outside hitter Ally Batenhorst powered the Trojans' offense with 19 kills on .348 hitting while libero Gala Trubint led the Trojans with 17 digs for her 57th-career match in double-digit digs. The Women of Troy hit the road later this week to face a familiar conference foe next week when USC takes on No. 11 Oregon.

🔼 Game of Inches. In a game that went down to the wire, the Trojans fell in the last minute of the game, 24-17, on the road to the Minnesota Gophers. Down seven points and out of timeouts, Miller Moss moved USC into striking range before his heave from the 28 into double coverage was picked off in the end zone. Running back Woody Marks finished the game with 20 carries for a career-high 134 yards and a touchdown. Next up, USC hosts Penn State next Saturday. The Trojans and Nittany Lions, who were ranked seventh in the latest AP poll, last met in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 2, 2017.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO goes to USC men’s golfer Jack Buchanan. A new addition to the Trojan lineup, the freshman put together a bogey-free 64 (-8) in the first round at the Trinity Forest Invitational to lift USC to first place through day one.
