🔼 Tip Off Time. Basketball season is on the horizon, and USC men’s basketball’s announcement makes it seem that much closer. The Trojans and the Gonzaga Bulldogs have announced a charity exhibition game at Acrisure Arena on Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. This season's matchup will be the fifth all-time meeting between USC and Gonzaga. The Trojans and Bulldogs are 2-2 all-time and first faced off in 1992 when USC won 77-60. Last December, the Zags beat the Trojans 89-76 at the Las Vegas Invitational. In this high-octane pre-season matchup, fans will witness elite competition while contributing to a great cause, as proceeds will help support Eisenhower Health's growing Cardiovascular Institute, supporting their lifesaving work in the Coachella Valley.
🔼 In Position To Strike. Freshman Jack Buchanan and the Trojans dropped one spot on day two as each continue their quest for a trophy. Buchanan is one stroke back of the individual lead, and USC is one stroke back of the team lead after another stellar round two at the Trinity Forest Invitational. For the second straight round, the Trojans fired double-digits under par (-10), improving to 25-under par for the tournament. USC sits second among the 15-team field, trailing UNLV (-26) by one stroke heading into the final day.
🔼 Ready For More. USC Women's Tennis sophomore Lily Fairclough is headed just a few hours north this week as the Trojan is set to compete in the singles main draw of the ITF Bakersfield Women's 35K beginning today. Fairclough, a sophomore from Perth, Western Australia, joined the Trojans during the spring of 2024 and contributed heavily in doubles play. This season, she is 2-1 in singles play, having most recently gone 2-0 at the Women of Troy Invite.
