Today, USC football set to face a familiar foe and multiple awards for multiple Trojans
Good morning, Trojan Family! The Fall Classic may have ended with our hometown team raising the trophy, but that doesn’t mean fall baseball is completely over. Trojan baseball will play the first two games of the fall on Saturday at Long Beach State.

🔼 Familiar Foe. USC football travels to the Pacific Northwest for the first time since 2019 to challenge the Washington Huskies on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. in Husky Stadium. The Trojans snapped their three-game losing streak with a dominant 22-point win over Rutgers in front of the home crowd last Friday. The offense featured a pair of impressive performances with running back Woody Marks’ single-game career-best three touchdown runs and wide receiver Makai Lemon’s four catches for a career-high 134 yards to go with three kickoff returns for 122 yards.

🔼 First Things First. The No. 4-ranked USC women's soccer team plays its opening game of the Big Ten Conference Tournament against the winner of Ohio State and Wisconsin on Sunday at 10 a.m. in Minnesota. The Trojans are 2-0 against their prospective opponents this season, outscoring them 4-0 across two matches. The 10-team tournament is single elimination, with the 7-10 seeds playing to see who faces the top two seeds.
🔼 Brought Out The Broomsticks. The No. 21-ranked USC women's volleyball team collected a season sweep in a 3-0 sweep of crosstown rival UCLA on Halloween night. The Women of Troy earned their first straight-set win over the Bruins since 2018 and the first road sweep over UCLA since 2015. Outside hitter Ally Batenhorst led all players with 16 kills on 28 attacks to hit .538 and finished with 17.5 points.
🔼 Back-To-Back-To-Back. USC women's golf freshman Jasmine Koo was named Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week for the third straight week after claiming her third-straight individual title at the East Lake Cup. By winning these three events in succession (Windy City Collegiate Classic, Stanford Intercollegiate, East Lake Cup), the freshman became the second USC player in program history to win three straight events since Annie Park did so during the 2012-13 season.
🔼 The Southern Cal Six. Both USC men’s and women’s tennis teams will continue the fall season at the Jack Kramer Classic this weekend.
🎾 Men’s tennis is sending Tristan Bradley and Niels Hoffman to compete in singles competition for the Trojans. Bradley is coming off a Round of 16 finish at the ITA Southwest Regional while Hoffman enters the tournament with a 10-3 start to the season.
🎾 Women’s tennis will send a quartet of Trojans to compete in the three-day event, including Jana Hossam, Maia Sung, Simone Kay and Sloane Murphy. Three of the four Women of Troy are coming off a round of 32 finish at the ITA Southwest Regional with Hossam leading the way for the Trojans with a 7-1 singles record.
🔼 On The Horizon. The USC men’s volleyball team has officially revealed its 2025 schedule. The Trojans will open the spring campaign with four home matches and begin with Daemen on Jan. 9 in the Galen Center. USC will host 14 matches at home in the upcoming season and will take trips to Ohio for the Big Ten Challenge and Hawai’i for the Outrigger Invitational.
Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO goes to USC women’s basketball’s Kiki Iriafen. The graduate student transfer will set up her defense of the Katrina McClain Power Forward of the Year award after being selected to the Watch List for the honor she won last season. Iriafen is the third Trojan to be named to a 2024-25 watch list for the Naismith Starting Five, following Talia von Oelhoffen and JuJu Watkins’ selections.
