🔼 Kept The Fight. Trojan men’s basketball held on to win a back-and-forth offensive battle 98-95 against UT Arlington. Desmond Claude finished with a team-high 26 points which included two clutch buckets in the fourth quarter to help seal the deal for USC. Josh Cohen ended the night with 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting while Terrance Williams II scored 18 points. Now sitting at 3-0 on the season, the Trojans continue their home stand with a game on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. against California.

🔼 Music To Our Ears. USC women's basketball is getting another injection of high-level talent with the signing of Jazzy Davidson to join the Women of Troy as a freshman for the 2025-26 season. The Oregon native is the No. 3 recruit in the nation and has been a member of Team USA's U18 National Teams.

🔼 From Down Under to LA. USC women's golf inked a top 100 amateur in the World Amateur Rankings, signing Australia's Sarah Hammett. The Aussie currently ranks as the No. 79th player in the WAGR and comes to the Women of Troy with three wins and 15 top-10 finishes.

🔼 Five Stars. USC men's tennis welcomes its newest signee, an in-state five-star prospect, Nathaniel Suh. The incoming freshman heads to Los Angeles from Orange, CA, where he is ranked the No. 31 player in the 2025 recruiting class. The California resident will get to stay close to home and join a cast of numerous young West Coast products on the Trojans squad. 

🔼 New In Town. Leading up to the USC track and field season, get to know some of the new faces who will compete as Trojans for the first time. On this edition of “Getting to Know”, learn more about freshman distance runner Gabriel Castillo and why he chose USC, which events he will be competing in and some personal milestones he would like to achieve in the Cardinal and Gold.

🔼 Forever Remembered. Earlier this week, three-time NCAA shot put champion and USC Olympic gold medalist Dallas Long passed away due to natural causes at the age of 84. Long ruled the shot put world in the 1960s, winning three consecutive NCAA titles in the event (1960-61-62) and winning the shot put gold medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics with an Olympic record at the time of 66-8.50.
