🔼 Twas An Honor. Following the 2024 regular season, thirteen Trojan football players earned All-Big Ten Conference honors. Punter Eddie Czaplicki was the only player to earn First Team honors by the coaches and the media while running back Woody Marks and offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon both were selected to the Second Team. All-Big Ten Third Team honors were presented to offensive lineman Jonah Monheim, cornerback Jaylin Smith, returner Makai Lemon and long snapper Hank Pepper while tight end Lake McRee, offensive lineman Elijah Paige, linebacker Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, defensive tackle Gavin Meyer, safety Kamari Ramsey and linebacker Mason Cobb each earned Big Ten Honorable Mention.

🔼 Record Setting Win. USC sophomore JuJu Watkins set a new program record for 3-pointers made in a game during her 40-point outburst to help pace the No. 6 USC women's basketball team to a 94-52 win over visiting California Baptist at Galen Center. Watkins landed nine 3-pointers in the Trojan victory, bettering the previous record of seven while USC improved to 7-1 overall.

🔼 Big Debut. USC men's basketball will kick off Big Ten play this week as the team takes on a former Pac-12 opponent, the University of Oregon. The Trojans and the Ducks series goes back to 1956, and three Trojans sit within 10 of hitting 100 points so far this year: Josh Cohen (98), Desmond Claude (94) and Chibuzo Agbo (91). This trio has remained at the top of the stat sheet for the Trojans through the first eight games.

🔼 Honoring The Life and Legacy. Gail Henley, who was a member of USC baseball's first-ever National Championship squad in 1948, passed away at the age of 96 earlier this week. Henley was an outfielder for the 1948 title team and went on to have an extensive career in professional baseball as a player and then coach. He played in the 1954 season in the Bigs, but after injuries derailed his career, he transitioned into coaching and front-office work as he was a manager and scout for 50 years.

New games. New players. New Squid Game. Season 2 returns to Netflix on December 26th. #SquidGame2

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO goes to Eddie Czaplicki. The USC punter was awarded the Eddleman-Fields Punter of the Year award for his efforts during the 2024 season. The Ray Guy Award finalist and All-American candidate is the best punter in the nation, ranking first in the nation in net punting (45.54) and leading the nation in percentage of punts inside the 20 (24) for punters with a minimum of 30 attempts.
