📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Matching Records. The 20th-ranked USC baseball team matched the 1988 team’s record for best start in program history at 15-0. The Trojans swept Illinois over the weekend, winning 4-0 on both Friday and Saturday. The series concluded with a 5-3 win on Sunday.

🔼 Sweeping Weekend. The third-ranked women’s water polo squad won three straight at the Convergence Tournament. They started the weekend with a 25-9 win over No. 11 Michigan. On Saturday, they defeated LIU 30-8 and Villanova 18-5. The Trojans are now winners of six-straight.

🔼 It’s Tradition. The USC women’s rowing team defeated UCLA in a head-to-head dual for the sixth straight time, retaining the Amy Fuller Kearney-Lori Guerrero Azbill Trophy. USC’s 1V4 and 1V8 secured victories, with the 1V8 clinching the win in a tiebreaker race. The Trojans will next compete in the San Diego Crew Classic on March 28-29.

🔼 Undefeated Weekend. The third-ranked beach volleyball team went undefeated as they hosted the MPSF Midseason Rumble over the weekend. The Women of Troy picked up shutout wins over No. 10 Cal, Oregon, and No. 16 Grand Canyon. They concluded the weekend with a 3-2 win over No. 13 LSU. The Trojans extended their home winning streak to 40.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is baseball’s Mason Edwards! He threw 6.0 innings, allowing just two hits, in Friday’s 4-0 win over Illinois. It marked his fourth-straight scoreless start to open the season. He now has a 0.00 ERA through 24.0 innings pitched and 42 strikeouts.
