🔼 Championship Tickets Punched. USC track and field delivered a strong performance at the NCAA West Regional, capturing two event titles and qualifying 13 men’s entries and 12 women’s entries for the NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 10. The women’s two event titles included the 4×400 relay team of Christine Mallard, Dajaz DeFrand, Madison Whyte and Brianna Selby with a time of 42.54 - the fifth best in program history. Selby posted a new school record in the 100m with a time of 10.83, the 7th-fastest time in program history.

🔼 Staying Alive. USC stayed alive in the NCAA Tournament with a dominant 14-3 victory over host Texas A&M on Sunday night, forcing a winner-take-all regional final in College Station. The 11-run win came after USC defeated Texas State 15-4 earlier in the afternoon. The Trojans exploded offensively against Texas A&M with eight of the nine starters recording a hit and five having a multi-hit game. USC and Texas A&M will play the final game of the College Station Regional with a trip to a Super Regional on the line tonight at 6 p.m. PT on ESPN2.

Today’s Top Tier Performance presented by ARCO is Jack Stadlman who posted a time of 44.79 in the 400m at the NCAA West Regionals, punching a ticket to the NCAA Championships. He also posted a new personal best and the No. 10 time in program history.
