🔼 Double Trouble. Following some impressive outings at the Trojans/Lions Invitational, USC women's volleyball senior Mia Tuaniga was named the Big Ten Setter of the Week and outside hitter Jadyn Livings was chosen for the Big Ten Freshman of the Week award. While it is the first career award of any kind for Livings, it is the first for Tuaniga since she was chosen for Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors in 2021. Tuaniga produced her third and fourth double-doubles of the season (31st and 32nd of her career) in three matches while Livings continued right where she left off last week by stringing together her fourth straight match with double-digit kills and double-digit points.

🔼 That Makes Three. Three weeks into his career as a Trojan, Robert López Duart has collected his third set of MPSF West Newcomer of the Week honors after another powerful weekend of work for USC men's water polo. López Duart led USC with 10 goals scored at the Overnght MPSF Invitational, setting his USC career high with a five-goal outing — including the game-winner — in a 12-11 overtime win over No. 2 Stanford.
