Good morning! There’s big news from reigning national champion USC beach volleyball: the team is joining the MPSF in 2025. The Women of Troy will be part of a seven-team league as the league’s 12th sport following the departure from the Pac-12.

🔼 That’s A Win. In the first game in front of the Trojan faithful, USC men’s basketball showed out with an impressive win against CSU Bakersfield. Isaiah Collier shined the brightest on the court, finishing as the team’s leading scorer with 19 points. Oziyah Sellers turned heads with his 16 point, four rebound performance.

In the end, the Trojans ran away with the game as USC never trailed in the game. Next up, men’s hoops will stick around for their second game at the Galen Center to face off against UC Irvine.

🔼 One More Go. This weekend, USC men’s water polo will host crosstown rival UCLA for Senior Day in the team’s final regular season game of the season. The team is coming off a clutch win against No. 3 Stanford and will look to hand the Bruins their first loss of the season heading into postseason play.

🔼 Hunting Season. The Trojans are hitting the road for the final time this season as they look to knock off the No. 6 ranked Oregon Ducks. Caleb Williams and the USC offense will once again look to put up serious points on the board behind the second-best scoring offense, third-best first down offense and fifth-best passing offense in the nation.

🔼 Newest Trojans. It was a big day on Wednesday as National Signing Day saw many soon-to-be Trojans commit to join programs across USC Athletics. Here are just a few of the newest signees that will make their way to Los Angeles in the months to come.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. Following an upset, season-opening win in Las Vegas, the Women of Troy basketball team will head home to the Galen Center for the season’s home opener against Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday. This will be the first ever matchup between the two teams as the Trojans come into the game ranked in the top-25.

In addition to the play on the court, USC will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the back-to-back NCAA Championship teams with Cheryl Miller, Pam and Paula McGee and Linda Sharp making an appearance.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

Finishing the fall with one victory and three top-10 finishes in four tournaments, Catherine Park joined 20 of the best golfers in the country on the ANNIKA Award Final Fall Watch List. Her win at the Stanford Invitational was one of the more impressive of the season, facing 11 top-25 teams and four top-10 teams. She also earned Pac-12 Player of the Week for her win.

This fall, she finished with a 69.9 round average after 10 rounds played. Park, and the rest of USC women’s golf will return to the course on Jan.13 in a match play event against Texas A&M.
