🔼 Second Act. The Trojans will look to continue their run at the NCAA Tournament in the second round matchup against BYU. The all-time series is knotted up at 3-3-3 as the Women of Troy will look to hand the Cougars only their second loss of the season. Both teams will take the pitch on Thursday night at 6:00pm PT.
🔼 That’s Four. For the fourth time this season, Trojan volleyball’s London Wijay was chosen at the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, joining only three other Trojans as players to earn the award more than once. She recorded back-to-back double-doubles in the Women of Troy’s series split against Washington schools this past weekend.
🔼 Big Showing. The No. 10 ranked Women of Troy put together a dominant performance against Le Moyne on Monday night after coming away with a 93-42 victory. The team shot over 50% from the field while holding their opponents to just 25% on the night.
🔼 New Additions. Two USC programs added more future Trojans to its recruiting class.
🏀 Women’s basketball scored big by signing Kennedy Smith, the No. 1 recruit in California as well as one of the most dynamic guards in the country, Kayleigh Heckel.
🤽 Both water polo programs added to their recruiting classes. The women’s team added three stars to its roster while the men’s team added one more Trojan to its recruiting class.
🔼 Early Adversity. The Trojans went into the Galen Center and came out with a career-high performance from Harrison Hornery, but were unable to come away with the victory over UC Riverside. Hornery finished the game with 17 points, and standout freshman Isaiah Collier added another 23 points in the 70-60 loss.
USC will look to bounce back with a game against Brown at the Galen Center on Sunday at 5:00pm.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING
If you didn’t already know, USC basketball is putting the nation on notice as both the women’s and men’s teams have already racked up more than a few awards through the first three games of the season.
🏀 Freshman Juju Watkins and junior Rayah Marshall were each named as one of the Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 Watch List. Watkins is the sole freshman on the list and has accumulated 85 points through the first three games of the season.
🏀 Speaking of freshman, both Isaiah Collier and Juju Watkins were named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week in their respective programs. Collier averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 assists in the Trojans’ two wins last week.
🏀 Last but not certainly not least, Boogie Ellis was named to the five-player Sporting News Preseason All-America Team. The fifth-year guard has helped lead USC to two wins as a second-year captain.
