🔼 Standing Tall. After a hard-fought 90 minute battle against No. 1 seed BYU, the Women of Troy were unable to find an equalizing goal and fell in a 1-0 loss in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. It wasn’t for a lack of effort, as USC put up more shots than BYU and held possession 49% of the match.
The team finished the season with their 10th consecutive postseason appearance and with a top 25 rankings in the latest coaches poll.
🔼 Postseason Play. This weekend, Trojan men’s water polo will look to defend their title at the MPSF Tournament coming in as the No. 3 team in the nation. USC will open up their title run against Augustana in the quarterfinal round on Friday, followed by potential semifinal and championship matches on Saturday and Sunday.

🔼 Williams’ World. The man can do it all. Quarterback Caleb Williams has continued to put up big numbers in big spots this year, and as a result, has been named a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award and Davey O’Brien Award.
This season, Williams is first in the nation in points responsible for (244), second in passing touchdowns (29) and passing yards (3,249) and sixth in passing efficiency (172.1). Definitely seems like a guy worthy of consideration for these awards.
🔼 Speedy Fast. The No. 7 ranked women’s swim and dive team turned in some of the fastest times in the country in the first day of the Texas Hall of Fame Swimming Invitational. The big win of the day was the 200y medley relay as Caroline Famous, Kaitlyn Dobler, Anicka Delgado and Vasilissa Buinaia clocked a school-record time of 1:34.07, taking the event.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING
The Trojans will suit up for the last time this regular season in for one of the biggest rivalries in college football: USC vs. UCLA. The Trojans and Bruins will face off for the 93rd time at the Coliseum.
Coming in to the game, USC has come out on top in 18 of the past 24 matchups, most recently last year in the thrilling 48-45 victory at the Rose Bowl. The Trojans are looking to break the two-game skid with big performances from the seniors in their final home game of their careers.
