🔼 Back On Top. USC men’s basketball got back in the win column with a 79-59 win over Alabama State as they wrapped up non-conference play. The Trojans spread the ball around nicely as 11 of the 13 players who checked into the game put points on the scoreboard.
The first half was all USC as the Trojan defense held Alabama State to the lowest first-half total (18) of any opponent all season. As for the offense, three players finished in double-digits on the night with Arrinten Page leading the way with 12 points from the bench. Next up, the Trojans will begin their Pac-12 schedule in Eugene, Oregon, to face off against the Ducks on Dec. 28.
🔼 Went Gold. Three-time USC beach volleyball All-American Megan Kraft and All-American alumni Terese Cannon teamed up to represent Team USA and won gold at the 2023 NORCECA Beach Final. Cannon and Kraft went three sets with Canada's fourth-seeded duo in the championship match and came out with a 21-16, 14-21, 15-11 victory.
🔼 Moving Along. It looked like a win from the start as the Women of Troy picked up a 93-44 victory over Cal State Fullerton behind an all-time shooting night from three-point land. Five Trojans finished in the double-digits with none other than Juju Watkins leading the way with 23 points on the night.
Taylor Bigby contributed the most from beyond the arc as the redshirt sophomore guard drained a game-high, and career-high, five three-pointers. Watkins, Kayla Padilla and McKenzie Forbes added three triples apiece to add to USC’s career night. Next up, the Trojans will hit the road to take on Long Beach State for their final non-conference clash.
🔼 In the Books. Fall ball for Trojan baseball is officially in the books. Capping off 2023, the program welcomed in 24 newcomers and played in the successful five-game series at the Cardinal & Gold World Series. 1K Club. USC women’s basketball is out to its second consecutive 9-0 season thanks to a variety of contributions from up and down the roster. One Trojan however joined an exclusive club following her performance against Cal State Fullerton.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING
Top Drawer Soccer released its postseason awards and the Trojan’s Maribel Flores was named to the Freshman All-America second team. Flores was also named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team.
Flores posted six goals and five assists for 17 points throughout her first collegiate campaign. Her six goals scored were tied for the team lead and led all freshmen in the conference, while her five assists were tied for 15th in the Pac-12.
