Today, a preview of USC basketball's double header

Good morning! ‘Tis the season for giving, and earlier this week, USC women’s basketball was given a special surprise. The whole team was treated to some new Nikes that show off the team’s West Coast roots following a fantastic start to the season.

🔼 On to the Riverside. This weekend, the Women of Troy will look to keep their undefeated season alive as they welcome UC Riverside to the Galen Center. The No. 6 Trojans will tip off in the second game of a double-header at 3:30pm in LA following the men’s matchup at 1:00pm.

In their last victory against the San Diego Toreros, USC’s star Juju Watkins recorded her fifth 30-point game of the season, breaking the record for such games in a single-season by a freshman. The Trojans put up 89 points in its second-highest scoring game of the season while shooting over 50% from the floor.

The Women of Troy will look to keep up the same kind of offensive production against a UC Riverside team that enters the game 4-3. The Trojans hold a 4-1 all-time record against UC Riverside dating back to the 2016 season.

🔼 First of Two. Coming off a tough matchup against Gonzaga in the Legends of Basketball Las Vegas Invitational, USC looks to get back to their winning ways against Long Beach State in the first game of Sunday’s double header.

The matchup will feature Pac-12 Player of the Week, Boogie Ellis, as he comes off back-to-back 28-point performances where he averaged 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

With a win, the Trojans would improve to 6-3 on the season and continue their stellar play at home in the Galen Center.
