🔼 Soaring Success. USC men’s volleyball earned its 10th win of the season in a five-set thriller over Concordia University and capped off the home-and-home sweep. The win also improved the Trojans to 2-0 in conference play for the first time since 2015. Three different Trojans finished with double-digit kills with Dillon Klein leading the way with 18. Freshman Caleb Blanchette finished the match with a career-high 55 assists and 13 digs en route to the big win.
🔼 Upset Alert. After knocking off Michigan State, the Women of Troy knocked off the No. 2 ranked Michigan Wolverines in an exciting 4-2 victory on the road. The match started off right with USC securing the doubles point thanks to Lily Fairclough and McKenna Koenig. Then in singles play, Fairclough earned her second win of the match, and Snow Han and Eryn Cayetano solidified the win as Grace Piper clinched it in the upset win over the 18th-ranked singles player in the nation.
🔼 Wild Ride. USC men’s basketball took Colorado to double overtime but was unable to secure the win after falling 92-89. Boogie Ellis scored a game-high 30 points for USC and freshman Isaiah Collier tacked on another 25 with nine assists. The Trojans will now hit the road next weekend for the first of three straight road games with chances to knock off Washington State and Arizona.
🔼 Upending Irvine. Freshman Ava Stryker and senior Alejandra Aznar each tally hat tricks for the Trojans in Irvine as the No. 5 USC women's water polo scooped up a solid road win with a 10-7 victory over the No. 10 ranked hosts. The win over UC Irvine improved the Women of Troy to 5-3 on the season. The freshman’s three-goal day bumped her up to second on the team in goals this season, trailing Rachel Gazzaniga. USC kicks off action at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational next week, opening up against Indiana on Friday.
🔼 Left No Doubt. USC lacrosse had three players post hat tricks in the nine-goal route of Hofstra to earn its third victory of the season. The 15-6 win came thanks to Maggie Brown, Maddie Dora and Shelby Tilton’s three-goal efforts. Goalkeeper Kait Devir allowed just four goals in 45 minutes on the field and proved she is still one of the best in the game. The undefeated Trojans will take on Michigan next weekend back at home.
