Amari Avery posted the best second round for USC as she was one-under-par (72) for the afternoon while freshman Bailey Shoemaker and senior Brianna Navarrosa finished as the other two Trojans in the top ten. The Trojans hope to finish the day with another team title as they close out the Pac-12 Preview today at the Nanea Golf Club on the Big Island of Hawaii.

🔼 Big Time Plays. USC men’s volleyball opposite hitter Jack Deuchar was selected as the MPSF Offensive Player of the Week. In the pair of wins over Concordia to open MPSF play, he had 32 kills and hit .375 in the team's sweep over CUI. In the two matches, he reached double-digit kills for the ninth and 10th times this season and produced his 11th and 12th matches in double-digit points. The 10th-ranked Trojans moved up two spots in the AVCA/NVA Coaches Poll following a 2-0 week against Concordia, and this week, USC heads to Phoenix for its final out-of-state matches of the season.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

Everywhere you look, JuJu Watkins is making history. Watkins was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for a record 13th time this season and also captured the Pac-12 Player of the Week alongside it. The awards mark the third time this season that JuJu has swept both conference honors. She also became the first Trojan since Tina Thompson to earn conference Player of the Week honors three times in one season.

Now riding a six-game win streak and ranked No. 7 in the nation, USC is coming off victories over Arizona (81-64), Oregon (88-51) and then-No. 11 Oregon State (58-50). Watkins was USC's top scorer in all three contests, helping USC to complete its first road sweep of the Oregon schools since the 2012-13 season.
