🔼 Tie Goes To The Trojans. The match finished in a tie, but the Trojans took home their second win of the Therese Hession Regional Challenge over crosstown rival and No. 4 ranked UCLA thanks to the four extra holes won by the Women of Troy. On day one, USC women’s golf split a pair of matches with a 3-1-1 win over Ohio State and a narrow 3-2 loss to Texas.

Against UCLA, Catherine Park took a point in a 2&1 win and Bailey Shoemaker finished with an impressive 6&4 win, but after the tie from Frances Kim, the Trojans came away with the victory in the tie after edging out the Bruins in total holes won.

🔼 Show Goes On. The No. 7 ranked men’s tennis team remains unbeaten after coming away with a 5-2 victory over UNLV. The Trojans opened up the match by earning the doubles point and followed it up with singles wins from Karl Lee, Lodewijk Weststrate and Volodymyr Iakubenko to seal the deal. The 4-0 USC men’s tennis team will now take the show on the road as they head to Stillwater, OK, to face off against Oklahoma State on Saturday.

🔼 Back In The Win Column. The Trojans snapped their losing streak after earning the 82-54 victory at home over Oregon State. USC recorded 22 assists on 30 field goals and shot 49.2 percent, its best mark since the team’s win over California. The win was an all-around team effort as the Trojans finished with 47 points off the bench. DJ Rodman posted a 12-point, 14-rebound double-double while Harrison Hornery finished with a team-high 14 points.

🗣️ “A good team win. The guys played very hard defensively, I thought the energy was great; to hold their leading scorers to lower shot attempts and as well as some inefficiency. So our players did their job today on both sides of the ball and it was a good win.” - head coach Andy Enfield

🔼 Making History. USC women’s swimming and diving came up with a historic win on Saturday by knocking off No. 4 Stanford. The win marked the second top-5 victory on the weekend and the end of a 28-year losing streak to the Cardinal with the Trojans’ last win coming in 1996. The Women of Troy opened the meet with a major win in the 200-yard medley relay as Caroline Famous, Kaitlyn Dobler, Anicka Delgado and Vasilissa Buinaia combined to clock a 1:35.40 and out-touch the Cardinal A-relay. They closed out the win with a victory in the last event of the afternoon in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
