🔼 Locked In. USC men’s basketball heads into the matchup against California on the road tonight after snapping its losing streak in the win over Oregon State. The 11 games away from home (4 neutral, 7 road) are tied for the fifth most among all Power 6 schools and its seven true road games are tied for the fifth-most. The Trojans may have found the key to success. The team had 22 assists in the win over Oregon State and improved to 22-2 in games it has 20 or more assists since the start of the 2019-20 season.

🔼 Double Time. No. 15 ranked men's volleyball will play its final two non-conference matches before the start of MPSF play when the Trojans take on seventh-ranked UC Irvine in a home-and-home series this week. USC will take to the road for the first contest and then will welcome the Anteaters to the Galen Center on Saturday for the rematch. The 7-3 Trojans enter the matchup having out-hit their opponent in eight matches. USC's .355 hitting percentage currently ranks third in the MPSF and sixth in the NCAA.

🔼 Welcome Home. The USC women's volleyball team has officially signed transfer outside hitter Ally Batenhorst to join the team in the 2024 season. The 2020-21 Gatorade High School Texas and National Player of the Year played three seasons at Nebraska and helped the Cornhuskers to NCAA runner-up finishes in 2021 and 2023, and a regional semifinal appearance in 2022.

🗣️ "The addition of Ally Batenhorst is a game-changer for our program. She is accomplished and has played at the highest level of collegiate volleyball throughout her career. Ally is a great teammate and leader; and a person who reinforces what the USC standard is about. We cannot wait to begin training with the newest member of our Trojan Family." - Brad Keller

Get That Outta Here. USC men’s basketball has had the leading shot blocker in the conference for two seasons running. Do you know which Trojan leads the Pac-12 in blocks so far this season?

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

  • Naismith Trophy Player of the Week

  • ESPN Player of the Week

  • Pac-12 Player of the Week

  • Pac-12 Freshman of the Week

None of these are surprising after the week Juju Watkins had last week. After racking up 80 points in the USC women's basketball team's road sweep of Stanford and California, Watkins has added even more awards to her freshman season honors list. Her USC-record 51 points scored at No. 4 Stanford was the most by any player in the nation this season, and her Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award improved the record to 11 so far this season.
