🔼 Postseason Run. USC men’s basketball reached the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament, but a loss against Arizona on Thursday marked the end of the road for the Trojans this season. USC’s win against Washington in the first round of the postseason saw Boogie Ellis eclipse 2,000 points in his career after finishing with a team-high 24 points. After advancing to the next round, USC ran into league-champion and top-seeded Arizona Wildcats where USC fell 70-49.

🔼 Road Stint. The USC baseball team hits the road this week, playing a three-game series against the Cardinal in Stanford, CA. The Trojans picked up its first road win of the season earlier this week against Cal State Fullerton thanks to a KaiKea Harrison two-out double to give USC the 6-5 victory. The Trojans lead the all-time series against Stanford, 224-195-2, dating back to the teams' first meeting in 1923. The Trojans won last year's series over the Cardinal, taking two of three games at home.

Home Court Advantage. The No. 9 ranked USC women's tennis team continues Pac-12 play this weekend as the team hosts Arizona and Arizona State. The Women of Troy are currently 10-4 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. Most recently, USC's fifth-year Eryn Cayetano recorded her 100th  singles win as Trojan, while head coach Alison Swain notched her 100th  dual match win at the helm.

🔼 Open For Business. USC lacrosse will open up Pac-12 play this weekend against UC Davis and face off against the last nonconference foe of the season, Dartmouth. The 6-2 Trojans are coming off a big win against Temple where three players recorded a hat-trick. The Women of Troy face the Aggies in their Pac-12 debut match on Saturday while they face the Minutewomen on Monday.

🔼 Take Back. The Women of Troy are off to Hawai'i this week looking to avenge an earlier loss to the Rainbow Wahine. USC women’s water polo will try to extend its seven-game win streak on Saturday as the Trojans enter with a 13-3 record and No. 5 in the nation. Rachel Gazzaniga leads USC's balanced scoring charge with 33 goals, followed by Alejandra Aznar and Ava Stryker with 32 each. Defensively, Carolyne Stern is averaging 8.7 saves per game thanks in part to her four double-digit save outings this year.

🔼 Hosting Top Talent. USC men’s tennis will host No. 2 TCU and No. 12 Texas this weekend at Mark Tennis Center for a pair of nonconference duals over the weekend. The Trojans will first take on the 11-1 Horned Frogs on Friday, then on Sunday, face off against the 10-3 Longhorns. The Trojans enter this weekend as the No. 44th ranked team in the country via the latest ITA Rankings and currently have two-ranked individuals on the roster in Petar Makk (No. 50) and Lodewijk Westrate (No. 102).

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

JuJu Watkins received a trio of big-time honors from ESPN in what will be the first of many. The worldwide leader in sports named Watkins to the:

🏆️ National Freshman of the Year

🏆️ All-America Team

🏆️ National Player of the Year Runner-Up

Last weekend, Watkins was named to the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team for her work helping the Trojans win the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament Championship. That run included wins over two more top-10 opponents — No. 7 UCLA and No. 2 Stanford — to give USC its most wins over top-10 opponents since 1985-86. The Women of Troy captured the most wins (26) in a season since 1993-94, and USC has its highest AP national ranking since 1986.
