🔼 Moving On! Trojans JuJu Watkins and McKenzie Forbes each tallied 23 points in USC women’s basketball’s first-round 87-55 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Now with 833 points this season, Watkins stands alone as the single-season scoring leader. USC will step into the NCAA Second Round against Kansas for a chance at a Sweet Sixteen appearance.
🔼 Going With The Row. The No. 16-ranked USC women's rowing team defeated UCLA and LMU in the first scored match of the season. The Trojans won two categories, receiving three and a half points, while the Bruins received three, and the Lions zero.
🔼 Home Track. Serving as hosts for the weekend, USC track and field capped off the Ron & Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational with 18 event wins. Leif Nelson highlighted the day with the fourth-farthest javelin throw in school history with a mark of 228 feet. Mixed into the day’s winners was the women’s 4×100 relay team, Christine M. Mallard in the 100m dash and Di’Niko Bates in the 110m hurdles.
🔼 Statement Win. USC women’s water polo opened MPSF play against No. 2 California with a big 8-7 win. Senior goalie Carolyne Stern collected 12 saves, including a series of crucial stops in the fourth to help bring home the dub. The Trojans are now 14-4 on the season after stretching the win streak against Cal to 28 straight victories.
🔼 Squad Goals. Playing in the Pac-12 road opener, USC lacrosse released the floodgates with 16 goals in a dominant win over Arizona State. Freshman Annie Shields picked up her first career win in the net while five Trojans finished the game with multiple scores led by Ella Heaney and Maggie Brown who tallied four apiece. USC now leads 12-2 in the all-time series versus the Sun Devils and is 6-1 in Tempe, Arizona.
🔼 Match Makers. After an extended break following the conclusion of the John A. Burns Invitational, USC men’s golf took to their home course to face Prairie View A&M in an 18-hole match. The Trojans topped the Panthers by 29 strokes in the 6 count 4 format and finished the day 18-under par (270). Senior Krando Nishiba carded a 8-under par 64 for the low round of the match while Antonio Safa finished as the second-lowest scorer at 5-under par.
🔼 Made A Splash. The impressive season for women’s swimming and diving ended at the NCAA Championships with the Trojans’ highest finish since the 2016 season. The Women of Troy finished eighth in the team standings, and senior Kaitlyn Dobler was the lone Trojan to reach an A-final on Saturday evening, finishing sixth in 2:05.77 to earn All-American honors.
🔼 Rubber Match. After winning the first game of the series, 15-2, Trojan baseball was unable to secure the series victory, falling 6-3 in the finale to UCLA on Sunday. Playing through a 90-minute weather delay, Carson Wells blasted a home run to give USC life, and Michael Ebner and Will Watson combined for four innings pitched in relief while allowing zero runs and just one hit.

Time for round two! The Women of Troy will tip off at 7 p.m. for their Round of 32 matchup against No. 8 seed Kansas for a chance at a trip to the Sweet Sixteen. The Jayhawks enter the matchup having won 20 games on the season, including their most recent victory over Michigan. USC now holds a 27-5 record as the Trojans step into the NCAA Second Round for the first time since 2006.
