🔼 One of the Best. Leading the Women of Troy to the NCAA Second Round for the first time since 2006, USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb has been tabbed as a finalist for the 2024 Werner Ladder Naismith Women's Coach of the Year, which is presented to college basketball's most outstanding head coach. In her third season with USC, Gottlieb has helped coach her team to 27 wins, a No. 3 national ranking, two top-10 wins and a Pac-12 Tournament Championship.

🔼 Going Down In History. The USTFCCCA elected former Trojans Balasz Kiss and Angela Williams into the Track & Field Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame.

👟 Kiss was a four-time NCAA hammer throw champion, winning the titles in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996.  He set the USC hammer throw record with a mark of 82.62m in September of 1995 and still owns the top eight hammer throws ever by a collegian.

👟 Williams is still the only male or female athlete to ever win four consecutive NCAA 100m titles, accomplishing the feat from 1999-2002.  Williams had a collegiate best of 11.04 set on June 5, 1999, which stood as the USC school record for 22 years.

🔼 Night Night. After enduring a four-hour rain delay, USC women’s tennis downed Hawaii 4-0 in the dark. The Women of Troy captured four straight-set wins in singles play to put away the Rainbow Wahine to move to 13-5 on the season. The ninth-ranked Trojans will square up against Pac-12 foe, California, on the road on Friday.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

The Women of Troy are feeling sweet!

After a decisive 73-55 win over Kansas at home in the Galen Center, USC women’s basketball is moving on to the Sweet 16. It will be the first time since 1994 that the Women of Troy will make an appearance in the Sweet 16.

JuJu Watkins led the Trojans to victory with a double-double that included a team-high 28 points and 11 rebounds. McKenzie Forbes also came up big with six triples to finish with 20 points while adding three rebounds and three assists. USC will now travel to Portland to face off against No. 5 seed Baylor on March 30.
