🔼 Midseason Form. The Trojans lead in the Pac-12 standings after an early undefeated start to the conference schedule, and because of their early success, three Women of Troy were honored with Midseason All-American selections. Senior Ella Heaney, junior Isabelle Vitale, and freshman Anna Regan were each named to the ILWomen Midseason All-American Honorable Mentions. Heaney is currently the top goal scorer for USC, Vitale leads the Pac-12 in assists and Regan has 88 draw controls in just 11 games played.

🔼 Gotta Run. The pair of top-15 ranked USC track and field teams will head to Gainesville, FL, to compete in the Florida Relays over the weekend. The Trojans will send 27 student-athletes to compete in an array of events against a very strong field that includes future conference foes such as Penn State, Maryland and Iowa.

🔼 Keep The Streak. Riding high from a 14-dual win streak, the Women of Troy march into the Death Volley Invite looking to hold on to their No. 1 status. USC beach volleyball has won 14 straight contests to equal the program's fifth-longest win streak set just a year ago. Through that run, USC has collected 11 clean 5-0 sweeps to go with a pair of 4-1 wins.

🔼 Battling The Bruins. USC men’s tennis will battle against crosstown rival, UCLA, for the team’s second conference matchup of the season. The Trojans enter this weekend as the No. 47th ranked team in the ITA Rankings, and host three-ranked individuals with Petar Makk leading the way at No. 73 in the nation.

🔼 Feature Film. USC Pro Day was a success as all 32 NFL Teams showed up to watch league hopefuls participate in drills. With quarterback Caleb Williams projected to go first overall in the upcoming NFL Draft, watch this feature film in full 4K complete with bonus scenes from his big day.

🔼 Making A Splash. After sweeping the MPSF weekly awards, USC women’s water polo heads to Bloomington, IN to face off against No. 14-ranked Indiana. The Trojans are coming in hot fresh off the heels of a competitive 8-7 win over the second-ranked Golden Bears.

🔼 Thrilling Upset Dub. USC’s Ethan Hedges got the Trojans on the board to go up 1-0, but it was Brayden Dowd who came up clutch by delivering the walk-off single to take down the No. 2 Oregon State Beavers in game one of the series. Starting pitcher Caden Aoki tossed a stellar six innings, striking out eight batters and letting up just one earned run on four hits. The combination of Xavier Martinez and Josh Blum held the Beavers hitless through the game's final three innings to allow for the walk-off hit from Dowd.

🔼 Getting Going. Freshman Bailey Shoemaker leads the way for USC women’s golf as the team finished day one tied for 12th place. USC is three-over-par as a squad, as they are currently tied with Baylor at the PING/ASU Invitational. Shoemaker finished 1-under par for the day as the low Trojan. The rest of the cast was above par, as sophomore Catherine Park and Christine Wang both ended one-over-par for the afternoon.

Leading The Pack. USC lacrosse’s Ella Heaney has helped the Trojans to an 8-3 record midway through the season thanks to her innate ability to put the ball into the back of the net.

Our question today: do you know how many goals Heaney has scored halfway through the 2024 season?

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

After a stellar season including a 9-0 regular season finish and a strong showing at both the conference and NCAA Championships, USC head coach Lea Maurer, freshman Minna Abraham and senior diver Nike Agunbiade earned conference postseason honors.

🏆️ Maurer became the third USC coach to receive the Pac-12 Women's Swimming Coach of the Year after winning the award for the second time in her career. She helped lead her team to its first-ever undefeated season, securing the most regular season wins in conference history.

🏆️ Abraham scored the most points of any other swimmer in the league (197) to be named the Pac-12 Women’s Swimming Freshman of the Year. After her freshman season, Abraham holds NCAA DI top-5 times in the 200y free, 200y free relay, 800y free relay and 400y medley relay.

🏆️ Four years after being named the 2020 Pac-12 Women's Freshman Diver of the Year, USC’s Agunbiade has been named the 2024 Pac-12 Women's Diver of the Year for the first time in her career. At the 2024 Pac-12 Championships, the fifth-year diver went on to become the first Trojan to win back-to-back platform titles, also securing a runner-up finish in the 1-Meter event.
