🔼 Pro Ballers. For the second straight year, the Women of Troy have had multiple selections in the WNBA Draft, with 2024 picks going to McKenzie Forbes (Los Angeles Sparks) and Kaitlyn Davis (New York Liberty). Coming off key roles in USC's run to the NCAA Elite Eight, Forbes and Davis were selected in the third round as the 28th and 35th overall picks, respectively.

🔼 Must Watch. USC football will debut its team for the first time at The Coliseum on Saturday, April 20 at the Spring Game. It will be the debut of some new staff and new players to Trojan football. Admission is free for all fans and gates will open at 10:30.

🔼 Chance To Ball Out. The 2023-24 leading point scorer and Trojan standout, Boogie Ellis, is off to compete in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in front of NBA teams and international scouts. The 70th annual competition offers aspiring pro basketball players the opportunity to shine in front on a big stage. Legends who have come from this tournament include Tim Hardaway, John Stockton, Jimmy Butler and Scottie Pippen.

🔼 Five Tool Player. More plays like these and Trojan baseball’s Austin Overn might find himself on Sportscenter. Check out the human highlight reel from Sunday’s win that featured Overn blasting one over the fence, and robbing Oregon of a home run.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

USC track and field’s Marne Sullivan is a true inspiration. Born deaf, Marne has had to overcome more than just the obstacles that stand in her way on the track, and because of it, was named a March/April 2024 Calhope Courage Award winner. On the track, she competes in the 800m and 1500m, with her best performance as a Trojan coming when she broke the indoor 800m school record and indoor DMR school record. Sullivan continues her advocacy efforts, partnering with brands for Deaf Awareness Month and beyond.
