🔼 Back To The Diamond. Heading into the week on a three-game win streak, USC baseball prepares for a pair of midweek contests against San Diego later today and UC San Diego tomorrow evening. The Trojans have proved they can win games in multiple ways after earning a pitcher’s dual, 2-1 win thanks to a walk-off single from Brayden Dowd, followed by their offensive explosion of 17 runs in the team’s second win against the No. 2 team in the country.
🔼 Battling Back. After going down 3-1 in the match, the Trojans rallied to defeat No. 11 Oregon State, 4-3, to improve to 14-6 on the season. USC women’s tennis claimed the doubles point early in the contest, but it was Grace Piper, Eryn Cayetano and Emma Charney who sealed the deal with a trio of singles wins to earn the victory.
🔼 Ol’ Reliable. USC freshman guard JuJu Watkins continues to be considered one of the nation's best in the game, named as one of four finalists for the Honda Award. The winner of the Honda Sport Award becomes a finalist for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the prestigious 2024 Honda Cup. Watkins has helped the top-seeded Trojans reach the NCAA Elite Eight for the first time since 1994, following in the footsteps of two other Women of Troy who carved a similar path at USC and who both were Honda Award winners for basketball.
🔼 Cali Dual. Going head-to-head against the national champs, USC rowing came up short in their dual against Stanford on the water. The No. 17 Trojans will be back in action after heading south to compete in the two-day San Diego Crew Classic this weekend.
🔼 Top Three. The USC men's golf team competed in the first and second rounds of the Cowboy Classic, finishing in solo third before the day was cut short due to weather. After a quick turnaround following The Goodwin in San Francisco, the team finished its first round and is currently 13-14 holes through its second round at 19-under. Krando Nishiba leads the Trojans and has yet to card a bogey as he sits 9-under for the tournament.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING
After achieving a feat no USC women’s basketball team had done in 30+ years, the Women of Troy fell short of a Final Four appearance in the 80-73 loss against UConn on Monday night. Tied at the half, the Trojans stayed in the game down to the final seconds, thanks partly to JuJu Watkins’ 29-point performance. Her night solidified her name in the history books, setting the NCAA D1 freshman scoring record.
McKenzie Forbes aided the offense with 24 points on the night and Rayah Marshall finished with another double-double, scoring 11 points and snatching 11 boards. USC women’s basketball completed its historic season with a 29-6 overall record.
