🔼 Mt. SAC Success. The men's 4x100m relay, JC Stevenson in the long jump and Temi Ojora in the triple jump won Elite Invitational events during the final day of the Mt. SAC Relays. USC's team of Travis Williams, Max Thomas, JC Stevenson and Johnnie Blockburger won the Elite men's 4x100m race with a time of 38.77 — a time that currently ranks fifth in the world, second on the NCAA descending order list.

🔼 Through One. Sophomore Catherine Park continues her streak of success, as she is tied for first after round one of the Pac-12 Tournament. As a team, USC ranks fourth after round one, finishing ten-over-par. Cindy Kou put herself second on the squad with a 3-over 75 and is tied for 17th through the first day. The Women of Troy head into day two looking to make some ground up, as the team starts teeing off at 9:50 a.m. this morning.

🔼 Rollercoaster Dub. Sandwiched between a pair of losses from Sacramento State was the Trojans’ dramatic 12-11 win over Santa Clara on Saturday. The team erased a six-run deficit, scoring seven runs in the seventh and eighth innings to come away with the victory. Dean Carpentier and Ethan Hedges each had four RBI outings to spark the offense, and closer Josh Blum tossed a scoreless ninth to earn the save for USC. The Trojans will be back in action on Tuesday to take on Cal State Fullerton for some midweek ball.

🔼 Sharp Showing. On Senior Day for USC lacrosse, the Trojans took down top 25-ranked Colorado convincingly, 15-6. After a close first quarter, the Women of Troy went on to score four times in each remaining quarter to earn the nine-goal victory. Claudia Shevitz led the charge with four goals in the match while Shleby Tilton and Maggie Brown added a pair of their own to round out the trio of multi-goal getters. USC will close out the regular season next weekend against San Diego State before heading to the Pac-12 Championship.

🔼 Finishing Strong. The Trojans rounded out the season on a high note, as they won both the doubles point and all three singles matches that finished in the dual to close out the regular season with a 4-0 sweep on the road against Utah. Freshman Volodymyr Iakubenko led with the first singles win, followed by Peter Makk picking up win No. 2 with Lodewijk Weststrate closing it out with the match-clinching win. USC will now take on second-seed Arizona at the Pac-12 Tournament at 3 p.m. on Thursday.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

The Trojan defense recorded four interceptions in USC's spring game to lock in a 43-28 victory over the offense in head coach Lincoln Riley’s third spring football game at USC.

🗣️ "Fun day and a lot of great competition out there. Defensively, I think you saw some flashes of what we've been seeing on the practice field. The defense did a great job creating the turnovers. That was probably the story of the day: the defense making the offense pay for their mistakes.” - Lincoln Riley

The Trojan defense began with a 24-0 lead and was able to add three points for turnovers, fourth-down stops and missed field goals and seven points for defensive touchdowns and safeties. The offense was scored as a normal game.

All three Trojan quarterbacks saw action as redshirt junior Miller Moss went 16-of-21 for 133 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, redshirt sophomore Jayden Maiava went 15-of-17 for 172 yards with one touchdown and one interception and redshirt junior Jake Jensen went 6-of-8 for 91 yards and one pick. Sophomore wide receiver Makai Lemon led the offense with six receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown, while freshman running back Bryan Jackson had a team-high 10 carries and a score.
