🔼 Top of the Class. Fresh off a second-place finish at the Pac-12 Tournament, USC women’s golf continues the postseason with its selection as the No. 1 seed in the East Lansing Regional at the Forest Akers Golf Course in Michigan. After receiving NCAA Championship Runner-up status in 2023, the Women of Troy hope to make another run towards the final prize at the NCAA Championships — a place the Trojans have advanced to every year since 1998.
🔼 Survive and Advance. No. 1 seed USC beach volleyball defeated Utah by a 3-0 count in the winner's bracket opening round of the Pac-12 Championship. The Women of Troy won all six sets with Ashley Prater and Grace Seits remaining unbeaten from the No. 4 position and Megan Kraft and Delaynie Maple earning the match-clinching point to move to 59-6 in their collegiate careers. The Trojans will now face off against California in the winner’s bracket semifinal for a chance to reach the title match.
🔼 Ring Chasing. USC swimming and diving alum Victor Johansson is Paris Bound as he gets set to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Johansson will suit up in his second games for his home country of Sweden.
🔼 Ring Chasing. Both USC tennis programs will begin postseason play today at the Pac-12 Championships. The No. 3-seeded Women of Troy will open up the postseason against either Washington or Washington State after earning a first-round bye. The No. 7-seeded men’s tennis team will face off against Arizona in its first Pac-12 Championship Tournament dual.
🔼 All Conference Teammates. Following standout performances for USC women’s golf, sophomore Catherine Park and junior Amari Avery were selected to the 2024 Pac-12 Championships All-Conference First Team. Park took home the individual award as she picked up her third win of the season and broke the Pac-12 Tournament record at 15-under-par. Avery finished her tournament at one-under-par and was tied for 16th place. The first-team honor is Avery's second in a row, and Park's first first-team honor from the conference.
🔼 Last But Not Least. USC beach volleyball senior All-Americans Megan Kraft and Delaynie Maple were named the Pac-12 Pair of the Week ahead of the team’s postseason run. Kraft and Maple collected a record 29th all-time Pac-12 weekly award won by a Trojan duo. It is the first and only Pac-12 Pair of the Week honor won by a USC pair this season and is the last-ever Pac-12 beach volleyball Pair of the Week award.
