🔼 Yippee Ki-Yay. USC men’s golf finished with four players in the red figures as the team wrapped up the Cowboy Classic with a fourth-place finish. The Trojans finished 26-under-par for the tournament with Krando Nishiba turning in the lowest three-day score at 10-under-par, leading to a tie for fourth. Sam Lape carded the best round of the final round with a 68 that moved him into a tie for 13th.

🔼 Senior Sendoff. Trojan men’s volleyball will host BYU for its final pair of regular season matches this weekend at home inside the Galen Center. USC will seek to bounce back from their matches against Pepperdine and are currently fifth in the MPSF standings and No. 13 in the AVCA Coaches Poll with four regular season matches left to play.

🔼 The Standard Is The Standard. The month of April is the month when USC football players turn into pros through the NFL Draft. The Trojans have historically thrived in the NFL, and the stats prove just that. Since 1937, USC has had the most amount of players selected from the following position groups:

  • offensive linemen (123)

  • running backs (96)

  • quarterbacks (25)

  • wide receivers (45)

  • defensive linemen (86)

The gold standard is Trojan-made, and with 523 total NFL Draft picks and 50 Super Bowl champions, it’s easy to see why USC has set the standard.

Record Breaker. There is lots to look back on the USC women’s basketball season, but one player in particular will stick in the minds of Trojan fans when they remember the 2023-24 season: JuJu Watkins.

Our question today: do you know how many points Watkins ended the season with?

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

USC’s JuJu Watkins has reigned in the much-deserved praise and recognition all season long, but none bigger than being named as one of five finalists for the John R. Wooden Award. The selection makes her the first USC women's player to earn Wooden All-America honors, or to be named a Wooden Award finalist since the organization began its women's award program in 2004. The John R. Wooden Award Trophy, presented to "The Outstanding College Basketball Player in the United States," is given to the player who receives the most points in the annual balloting.
