🔼 Back On Track. USC track and field will be competing at the 2024 NCAA West Preliminary Rounds hosted in Fayetteville, Ark. from May 22-25. The top 48 declared athletes in each individual event and the top 24 relays in each region will be competing with the top 12 in each event area and relays advancing to the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Trojans have 40 athletes who have qualified individually for the 2024 NCAA West Preliminary rounds, 25 women and 15 men.

🔼 Moving On. Trojan Grace Piper downed her first-round opponent 6-2, 6-1 in her NCAA Singles Championship debut. The Trojan fell behind early in her first set, going down 0-2 before winning six straight points to claim the first set, and from there, never looked back. Piper advances to the Round of 32 where she will play the No. 8 seed.

🔼 Welcome Home. USC men’s basketball announced the signing of 2023-24 Big East Most Improved Player, Desmond Claude. The Xavier transfer played 34 games last season and averaged 16.6 points, 3.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

USC women's golf advanced to match play, after posting the best score in the final round of stroke play (-1) at the NCAA Championship. Senior Brianna Navarrosa and freshman Bailey Shoemaker each carded under-par rounds, shooting 71 to go 1-under on the day. Navarrosa closes out the stroke-play portion of the tournament as the top scorer for the Trojans as she wrapped up her final NCAA Championship in 15th place.

The Women of Troy’s performance clinched the No. 4 seed and will play Clemson today in the quarterfinal match.
