🔼 Record Breaker. The No. 1 seeded USC women's golf team stands alone at the top of the leaderboard at seven-under-par after the first round of the NCAA East Lansing Regional thanks in part to Bailey Shoemaker’s course record. Shoemaker played nearly perfect, carding a 65 (-7) as she carries a two-stroke advantage over the second-place finisher on day one. USC had two other players within the top 12: sophomore Catherine Park is tied for fourth, and senior Brianna Navarrosa is tied for 12th.

🔼 Back At It. After hosting the Golden Bears over the weekend, the Trojans will have a quick turnaround as the team gets ready to face off against Long Beach State on the road. The two schools met in Long Beach earlier this season on March 19, ending in a 7-3 USC victory that snapped its two-game skid in the series. The Trojans are looking to make back-to-back wins in Long Beach for just the second time since 2010.

🔼 Warm Welcome. USC track and field welcomed its newest member with the signing of Kaden Garland. As the team gears up for the Pac-12 Outdoor Championships, Garland will join the squad for the 2024-25 season as one of Illinois’ top prospects in both shot put and discus.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

After helping secure the fourth-straight national title, USC beach volleyball graduate Maddi Kriz and Madison White were named the AVCA National Pair of the Week. Kriz and White collect the 10th all-time National Pair of the Week honor won by a Trojan duo and secured a school-record third award in 2024. The duo went 3-0 at the NCAA tournament from the No. 2 position to help USC to the national championship.
